Development and Implementation of Dual TVET Programs in Logistics

Objectives

Main goal of the project was to develop and implement the dual Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Warehouse Operation and Freight Logistics. In a partnership with the German company- PEM Consult and with the financing of GIZ, GLA has developed the curriculum in above mentioned disciplines and supported the Georgian TVET institutions in the successful implementation. Within the project, GLA has introduced the dual TVET system to the companies involved in transportation and logistics and acquired the partners interested in the cooperation with TVET institutions.

Our service

• Conduct focus groups with transportation, logistics and supply chain companies to identify skills gap and provide gap analysis identifying skills shortages in freight transport and warehouse operations
• Develop course curriculum in Warehouse Management and Freight Logistics as a part of TVET program in Logistics
• Provide training of trainers at Georgian TVET institutions

Provide all necessary documentation for program accreditation
