GLA will take part in the redesign of K. Afkhazi street

Georgian Logistics Association (GLA) will participate in the redesign of the Kote Afkhazi street. The project is implemented within the program of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) - Mobility4Cities.

Main objective of this project is to develop sustainable infrastructure of the Kote Afkhazi street, as one of the most intensive touristic corridors in Tbilisi. Main tasks of GLA in the project will be analysis of the car traffic and pedestrian flow and support an international consultant in the development of  sustainable transport concept. 

Development of urban and sustainable transport is one of the main priorities of GLA. From 2019, in cooperation with the Danish company Ramboll GLA is participating in the development of Tbilisi Sustainable Urban mobility Plan (SUMP). Since 2020, GLA supports GIZ in the development of sustainable transport concept for the transport corridor connecting V. Gorgasali street with the Heroes Square.
